Re: A week on an NHS Ward
Had to stay in hospital for a week a few years ago. Hated the idea of it. Looking back it went some way in reaffirming my faith in humankind. The staff were superb and worked like trojans. There was one in particular who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. I got chatting to him and aske...

It certainly sorted out our bad reception, as we live rurally. A bit more expensive but the engineer sorted out ourselves and the neighbour using the same equipment. Hence it is well reasonable and good quality.

Totally agree. There is a wood between the villages of Charing and Pluckley, in Kent, called Little Pipers. The bluebells are breathtaking. We have taken a photograph of our daughter there every year from her birth and she is now 16.

Tried my luck in the Hare and Hounds, Harle Syke. 1977 when I was 16 and looked 14. Landlord replied, "does yer mum know your out?" Brilliant red face and the laughs of the locals ringing my ears as I scarpered. Miserable devil.
