Would he/you be interested in selling it at all? You are in luck SJB! :D He said he has a spare copy at home and he will happily send you his spare for free. Is there a way for the admin's to send you my email address so I can get your postal address? If so, I am happy for them to share my details.

Thanks Poulton that's appreciated. I can understand his not wanting to part with it if he played in the game - it's ok about a photocopy, I'm a bit of an obsessive collector & they have to be the originals. Many thanks for posting it though as I was never sure if Blackpool had issued for the game -...

Would he/you be interested in selling it at all? I don't think he would as he is quite a collector of sports memorabilia and from games he played in particular, but I will certainly ask the question :D I imagine if he did not want to sell, he would probably do you a photocopy for free. Obviously th...

We won this game 1-0 on a snow covered Bloomfield Road pitch. Our goal was scored 20 minutes from time by Kenny Saunders; Kenny was a 17 year old trialist from Liverpool who wasn't offered a contract. He still works in football as a junior coach on Merseyside. Thanks for that! My father in law coul...

Very intersting but surely that's the FA Youth Cup not the reserves. :) Yes that's correct, sorry all! He had quite a few team sheets, naturally I went looking for any Burnley ones and had not checked the title. Quite a bit before my time, but I recognise a lot more names than I had expected to :D

Just been looking over some old team sheets with my father in law from when he played for Blackpool reserves (No. 5 D. Horn).
Came across this one against Burnley reserves in 1981. A few on here went on to have decent careers

I have emailed the ticket office to ask the question directly, but this is a farce if true. I've renewed my ticket expecting the same seat and to be moved without even being told is really poor.

Looks like Newcastle are missing out on Joao Pedro. Brighton have accepted a bid from Chelsea.
Hopefully someone else comes in for JT soon and gets them upping their bid.
Confident we will have replacements lined up ready to go, as it feels inevitable that JT will leave.

It's been a while since they have had a real kicking in the PL, like the one we had under VK. I think plenty of our fanbase were very giddy to say the least after we got promoted that year. It didn't last long of course and I'm sure it will be a similar story for Sunderland this season. Let them enj...

I didn't realise Rooster's was owned by a Burnley fan. I had a pint of the Assassin in my local (The Town Hall pub) a few weeks ago and it was superb.
Glad to hear it sounds like the bar is doing well Mr G!

Seriously impressive that we managed to draw that match. Some truly dismal bowling at the end, but every credit to Stewart and Evison

Strong recommend for Eddie Gills in Padiham.
I'll second this. My dad lives in Padiham, so I've had a few from there over the years and it is always great quality.

From Sky Sports Latest from Sky Sports News' Lyall Thomas: Scott Parker is not currently in the running to become the new Brentford head coach. Thomas Frank is set to be announced as Tottenham's new boss, with Justin Cochrane being part of his backroom staff. Parker, who led Burnley to promotion fro...

He's got potential, but they've paid the Bellingham tax. £15m if his last name was Smith.
That being said, Dortmund don't make too many mistakes when it comes to buying young players.

Dire performance. Some of those players seem to treat playing for England like a chore. Clearly don't want to be there, but just turning up as they want to be assured of a place for the World Cup squad.

Thanks, hopefully I'll get over there next season. Hope you enjoyed your weekend.
Thanks, yes it was great and I'm sure you'll enjoy it when you go.
Fantastic city, not too busy, easy to get around and the prices for food and drink are really reasonable.

I know you were looking for advice here and unfortunately I have none to offer. I wondered how you sorted tickets for the match though? Directly from the club or via a third party? Promised to take my lad on a weekend city break with a football match at some point and Valencia was high on my list o...

Re. wages. This is where it gets complicated. Wages in France with the exception of PSG are low. Reliable sources quote Strasbourg's highest earnest this season as earning €2m. Which is actually more than I expected. French football is in financial meltdown due to no major broadcaster wanting to pa...

Seems unlikely he'd be earning more at Strasbourg. Outside of a few of the big teams the wage budgets in the Premier League are massively higher than Ligue 1. Surely Todd Boehly will be putting more in his bank account than Alan Pace would, especially when you consider any new contract we offer wil...

Seems a strange move on the surface, but he will get paid loads and it is looking likely they will get European football next season. He will also shift sideways to Chelsea for next to no money if he's good enough for the PL as one of their dodgy as hell deals.

Hard to give an overall rating as some games, like Derby (H) were a 1 out of 10 and then others, like Sheff Utd (H) were a 9 or 10. I don't think I can say it's the most entertaining season ever, but we got the job done, which is what matters the most to me. 5/10 for entertainment alone 9/10 for ach...

Watched it in the old White Hart pub in Burnley (now Shimla Spice) and there were some beers flying around when those goals went in.
Not even sure why I watched it in there, I think that's the only time I ever went in when it was still a pub.
