Re: Today's Games 27/09

Fair play to them, they recurited well, spent a lot and look good. But it's worth saying that they had unbelieveably easy schedule - average league position of clubs they played against is - 14 (ours is 7,6). They also got really lucky with some decisions, clear penalty not given for Palace in the l...

Don’t see how Ugochukwu was not played at all yet Laurent played all game
1) Ugochukwu played today
2) Laurent didn't play his position today because he was a CB.

Everyone was saying Laurent was brilliant against Liverpool. Everyone agreed he did very well against Forest. And after one poor game (where he didn't do much wrong) he's suddenly not good enough. Too many overreactions. I agree that players should have done better, but I think the formation and shape was all wrong. Two midfielders had a hard time in first half and I have no idea what was the idea behind our press attempts.

Re: Beehole podcast - Why Florentino Luis could save Burnley's season

I think that’s a very harsh assessment, tbh. Played well after the Spurs opener against what should be a Top 6/8 side with a new manager, and gave United a real scare in the second half to the point they were celebrating at the end like they won the Champions League final. We have a host of new pla...

Beyer back in light training after a little set back could explain why we did not bring a cab in? It's almost two years since he last played a game. It will be a miracle if such a young player manages to overcome that kind of injury and returns to the level he was at when we signed him. I'd say the...

I don't think that will happen. Luis will probably be a smokescreen for someone else I reckon. We’ve not had one of these come through all summer, in terms of the initial interest being leaked then signed. We’d definitely have a really competitive PL midfield if it was him, mind. Hartman and Tchaouna stories were leaked initially.

Yes, Walker has to be a better option than Ekdal even though Walker isn't even a central defender.

However I bet Roberts is a while away from returning, that's the problem.

Brun Larsen a strange signing too, 7£m is massively overpriced for a winger who couldn’t get a start in the Bundesliga but we had about 9 wide players at the club already. Tuanzebe you can add to that list too, we’ve got an abundance of central defenders who we need to get rid of, he can’t stay fit...
