Re: ARTICLE:Egan-Riley leaves Burnley
Absolutely gutted with this one. Really wanted to see how he'd cope in the PL along side Esteve. He didn't fancy it so that's up to him. As someone said above I wish him no good luck or ill will. Who cares how he does. That is football

Please excuse me being an accountancy simpleton but since the takeover are we paying off the debt, is it increasing or do we simply not know? If the greater minds could answer that it would be really appreciated.

True but what an awful blow that would be.agreenwood wrote: ↑Wed Apr 30, 2025 2:49 pmYou’d imagine selling Trafford and/or Esteve this summer, in addition to the £88m of player sales in the current year and PL money, should see us on the right side of the line regrading PSR.

Norwich spent £9 mill 1st time they were promoted and £40mill the second time. He never stood a chance with that level of investment in the squad. Truly awful if they sack him

The chicken theme has been in KFC for a number of years. I noticed it after lockdown but I'd just moved back to the country. The broad theme seems to be that they're happy to associate chicken (the animal) with chicken (the meat). The current advert(s) are an extension of this theme. It's infintiel...

Betting on Burnley
I'm not normally a gambling man but I've won a good few quid betting on a Burnley not to concede over a couple of months. Normally go bigger on (£50) nil nil but cover it with 1 nil and 2 nil. Kiss off death probably but I'll be doing the same tonight. I've never bet on Burnley before this season an...

Fergie set up the youth system that brought them together and brought them along. A small part might be fortune but mostly it was hard work and judgement - much of it directly attributable to Fergie. Not only did he set up the scouting network, he also set up the coaching teams and instilled the cu...

Has any manager in history been gifted the talent of Giggs, Sharpe, Scholes, Neville x 2, Butt and Beckham? A truly superb manager, of that there is no doubt. He didn't half get lucky with that lot from the youth team though.
