Re: Summer transfer window
It’s worth mentioning that it is a World Cup year and players may consider clubs they otherwise may not consider just because they’re guaranteed starts. He is 32, so he may want to solidify his place in the German team maybe. Also, we have Kyle Walker, and maybe he could have seen him come to us an...

Friday is transfer day - who will it be?
The past two Friday's have brought us two new players totally out of the blue. Will there be another tomorrow, if so who will it be? As its entirely possible to be someone out of the blue again, or could be one we've been chasing in the media, either way three guesses is fair. My three guesses are :...

A 32 year old Granit Xhaka @ £8.7 million is tremendous value.
I'm surprised a bigger club aren't interested, surely we could join the party at that price?

 Foster has scored 9 goals since joining Burnley 2.5 years ago. It’s obviously nowhere near good enough. 7.5 goal contributions per season is not a good number for an attacker. Also, it’s curious and quite obvious why goal contributions are being used rather than goals - it’s also quite misleading as to the attacking output of a player as often an assist can be quite incidental to the goal itself. To receive circa £3 million for Massengo and Costelloe is more than I would personally have expected and again very good business IMO.
Especially bearing in mind we have brought in 4 PL quality players (Hartman included) for circa £12 million.
It all helps.

Can see Tresor playing as a number 10 especially if Amdouni is injured.
Benson will be sold which means 4 wingers which is what we require and Tresor can step in if required.
Tresor's stats as a number 10 are virtually the same as his left wing stats : Played 71 - Goals 15 - Assists 22

Incredible business:
RB - Kyle |Walker - £5m
RCB - Axel Tuanzebe - Free
LB - Quilindschy Hartman - £7.7m
Quality, pace, experience and power added to our already strong defensive squad.
All brought in for a similar amount Ipswich bought O'Shea off us for.
Now for midfield and attack !!
