The range of products that became available was absolutely mind-blowing. I got a Saturday job collecting trolleys at ASDA when it opened. I once saw a lady customer slam a bottle of champagne onto the checkout and the cork flew out, hitting her in the eye. She screamed and passed out, dropping into ...

Legend, arrogant, abusive but with a heart of gold.
How can you be both abusive and have a heart of gold?

Clarke is a really good bloke who sadly suffers with his mental health. I’ve witnessed personally both sides of him but when he’s in a good place he’s really good. Depression is the pits. It takes you to the deepest darkest places of your own mind. There must be hundreds, maybe thousands of Burnley...

My brother has special needs / disabilities and assisted the ground staff at Turf Moor for a few years. Clarke used to make him cups of tea and chat to him for long periods. So we have respect for Clarke and hope he stays well.

The city of Ripon has a population of approximately 17,000 and yet Burnley has more than 78,000.
At David’s in Pembrokeshire only has the smallest city population of 1,600.
Do you think city status would help attract investment? Would city status change people’s perceptions of Burnley?

The lack of a striker and all those 0-0 matches cost us the title. However, our incredible defence made us look much better. If we’d played as well as we have in recent games we would be miles ahead. Leeds deserve the title.

Unfortunately sometimes rules have to be broken before they are accepted as rubbish. There will be thousands of Emily Davison's running into the field of play this afternoon. And if the Club get fined 10 points at the start of next season, will running onto the field have been worthwhile? If a play...

I’ve just driven with radio Leeds on.
Commentator asked “Can you remember any team in recent years who have dominated this league like Leeds have this season?”

I never thought I would say this, but I would have Dyche back tomorrow

Still feel this way? Maybe you also think brexit was a good idea as well?

Much ado about nothing. A nail-biting game with a lot of stake, and a massive sense of relief when the final whistle was blow - marking our return to the EPL.

Why do they currently deserve to finish top when they have the same number of points as Sheffield United (-2 deduction).
Because they have scored so many goals. Not relying on 0,0 draws for their points.

Leeds have had a consistently strong season and deserve to finish top. We only need to finish second for automatic promotion and a Leeds win will keep us just 2 points behind Sheffield. It’s going to be an interesting match!

I think Leeds have been consistently strong and looking like they will get automatic promotion. However, it’s going to be neck and neck with Sheffield. If we end up in the playoffs, then that is a reflection of our inability to sign a top striker and a lack of goals all season. Bring on the next mat...

A few days ago, someone wrote “this match is not a must win”. I didn’t agree with that view. As long as our competitors (Sheffield and Sunderland) keep winning then we need to win. Personally, I think Leeds are on the road to promotion. Really don’t want to see us in the playoffs. UTC!

It'd be twice the mileage but only an hour and half on the M62.
My mobile maps app said there were many delays / motorway roadworks on Friday afternoon. It suggested Ilkley was the best route.

Reassure them when we get promoted we are having a new stand. Pity they won’t see it.
