Re: Transfer window out of 10
Very good window - 9/10. Les and Luis seem to be exactly what was needed in the middle. Dubravka and Walker bringing the knowhow. I'm glad we've not signed another forward and Broja is short of fitness as it's given Foster a chance, one that he's taking so far. We could have spent another £20M on a ...

Re: Burnley v Derby - Player Ratings
Weiss 6 - looked decent with feet, nowt to do apart from their goal that wasn't really stoppable. Sonne 7 - great run and finish. Worrall 7 - assured. Humphreys 5 - sold himself for their goal, looked unfit. Pires 6 - decent. Laurent 7 - good run out. Ramsey 7 - tidy game, good run out. Edwards 6 - ...

Re: What do we need
We've got loads of players who we're not going to be able to shift as they've not had minutes, and plenty who deserve a crack, or don't deserve benching. If we could find a young RWB, like a better Assignon, that would be worthwhile given Tuanzebe's record. And another young CDM to push Cullen and L...

Re: New Layout of Cricket Field
Do we know whether home fans are going to be able to go to the cricket club after games now? Or only if it's a cat A game?

Re: Lazio tickets ...
I just realised I've booked 2 tickets on the same clarets number, is that a problem? I usually put my mate's number in for the second ticket but it didn't ask for it.

Re: Their free kick!!
Got to presume his spray's not working, which begs the question do they not have spares? In any case as a result he doesn't know if the ball or the wall are in the right positions. We're owed an explanation there. Swift has absolutely slammed that free kick over the wall and it's gone in not even cl...

Re: The Super Clarets vs Preston Match Thread
Can't believe pundits talking about the ball touching the defender so no penalty. It doesn't matter if you've lunged in and took the forward, if the ball brushes your knee on the way past it's still a foul, everywhere on the pitch. They get given all the time.

Re: January Transfer Window Rumours
Good point re Humphreys. People talk about him being a good defender but not always being the most dangerous in an attacking sense, but at Blackburn he put over our one telling cross of the game and it proved enough and on Friday night he put over another peach which was easily our best cross and l...

Re: Our Lack of Goals is Killing Us Big Time
I've been giving our attack the benefit of the doubt for most of the season as we've only really had 2 fit wingers and one centre forward for most of it, and that lack of choice and form has killed us against the poorer teams that are happy to sit in against us. And I'd also convinced myself the app...

Re: Has the football improved lately?
The overall approach, involving a lot of risk-free possession from one side of the pitch backwards and across to the other side, is really dull. It's not miles away from a lot of the football under VK, which could also be boring, but that side had Beyer who would carry out of defence to break things...

Re: Parker - In or Out
In. It's frustrating but Parker's had barely any options up front since the window. Foster's been missing half the season, Flemming's been missing half the season, Hountondji and Jay have struggled off the bench. Anthony and Koleosho have been the only fit wingers, having to play 90 mins every week ...

Re: Vitinho message
He's made bold moves in career so far and showed a lot of passion and commitment (in a team that lacked it). I reckon he's made another good move and he'll be representing Brazil at RB in the next few years. Ah the best to him, really enjoyed watched him.

Re: Very similar to the early VK games
Yeah we're missing our best CM Cullen and 3 of the starting 11 today have not even had a training session together yet.
Fluency up front will come, Flemming will be important, Hannibal will find his place. I reckon this team will get 90+ points.
