Re: Joint Supplements

I’m rubbish at remembering doses, so I track my stack and let an app adjust from my Health data and blood tests. Lately I’ve used https://apps.apple.com/us/app/menalam/id6741103231 to keep morning/afternoon/evening timings tidy.

Re: Joint Supplements

I’m 64 and my knees/hips kicked off last year. Glucosamine with MSM did little after 5 months, so I binned it. What helped: steady omega‑3s, collagen in coffee, and a simple routine of step‑ups, chair squats and calf stretches. On bad days a dab of diclofenac gel before bed takes the edge off, and g...

Re: The new CFS “ corner “ atmosphere challenge ?

Yeah I get what you’re saying. From what I’ve seen at other grounds, once you split the home support with the away fans stuck in the middle, the noise just dies off. Unless the club has a proper plan to keep both sides engaged it’ll feel really flat. Honestly feels like they’re prioritising segregat...

Re: New season New Beer/Food offerings…

I thought it all ran a lot smoother than usual, barely queued at all which made a nice change, and even managed to grab a pint without missing anything. Tried the new “Favela” just out of curiosity and honestly it wasn’t for me, a bit too generic and not worth the price, so I’ll probably stick to th...

Re: Buying a ticket for an under 18th year old

I had the same issue when I was getting a ticket for my nephew, the site kept asking for a date of birth but there was nowhere to put it in at checkout. What worked for me was going into the account settings first and creating a profile in his name with his DOB added, then when I went back to buy th...

Re: Number of seasons in the Premier League per club

I think the big surprise for me over the years has been just how many seasons some clubs like Fulham and Palace have stuck around in the Premier League. You just don’t clock it year-by-year, but suddenly they’ve got more top-flight seasons than teams with way bigger reputations historically. And yea...

Re: Ticket wanted please!

I’d check outside the ground when you get there—there are usually people with spares looking to sell. I’ve had luck that way before when plans changed last minute. Hope you and your son manage to get sorted and have a great day in Bristol!

Re: Friday night TV

That’s a solid lineup, but honestly, I’d probably just stick with Gogglebox and maybe Popmaster TV if I’m in the mood for a quiz. I’ve never been big on soaps, and I’m a bit hit-or-miss with Graham Norton depending on the guests. The rest might be background noise while I’m doing something else.

Re: Crypto, love it or hate it

I’ve noticed more people starting to take Bitcoin seriously as the price goes up, but there are still a lot of folks who aren't fully convinced. Personally, I’m more interested in the tech behind it, like blockchain, than just the price itself. I’ve been watching it for a while now, and while there’...

Re: Distilling Spirits For Home Use

I’ve used an Air Still for small batches of gin and whiskey before, and as long as it’s for personal use, you don’t need a license in the UK. However, it’s super important to stick to the legal limits and avoid selling anything. The process can be a lot of fun, but safety and legal stuff should alwa...

Re: Weather For Saturday

Sounds like it’s going to be a rough trip! I’ve had a few away games where the weather was brutal, and it’s always a good idea to over-prepare. I'd suggest bringing extra layers, waterproofs, and maybe even some food in case you end up stuck in bad conditions. It’s never fun dealing with heavy rain ...

Re: Marseille airport car hire

My brother had a rough experience at Marseille airport last year.

He ended up paying way more than he expected because of hidden fees, and the car he got wasn’t even in great shape. Plus, the wait time was ridiculous, which is the last thing you want after a long flight.
