It did. The very message transmitted was a white flag waving. A sad way in my view to just accept something without fighting.
But didn't they meet his buy out amount from his contract so not much we could do ?

We replaced him with a far better manager and he seems to struggle to deal with that The point Dyche was making was valid . Kompany failed at premier level with us but then gets a top European job . Nothing to do with struggling to deal with that . Seemed to remember Everton beating us 3 times that...

Not sure it always work that way re toughest fixture at this time of the season. Teams at bottom sometimes grab their last chance and pick up results . Those at bottom have started to pick up results in last week or so

Feel it was really stupid letting Ekdal go based on Worrall’s showing yesterday and especially given Humphreys injury. He can play right and left centre back too.

We’d better hope that Esteve and CJ stay fit.

He needs to play like Worrall or you might gets some " rusty" performances too

Disappointing but understandable . They could play their full team and have nothing else to play for . Some of ours short on recent game time and it showed at times . At least we miss the 0.6 defeat at man city in next round 😲

If we don’t go up this season I think there’s a strong case for cashing in our current CBs and starting next season with Beyer and Ekdal- but then there’s the worry of injuries and no back up I suppose. What about Worrell and Humphries ? Aren't we committed to buying Humphries and I think Joe will ...
