Re: Season tickets next season
People moaning about us being unable to compete in the Premier league then moaning about a ticket price increase by the 19th (out of 20) least expensive STs in the PL need to take a look at themselves. I know most people aren't in both camps but a number are. I know times are tough financially for m...

Sheff United's next game is away to us, a real 6 pointer given that, should we win our 2 games in hand, we would only be 1 point behind them going into that match.

My Cricketfield Stand over 65s ticket has only increased from the current £240 to £260 next season, which is an 8.3% increase. Sounds like pretty good value to me given I will be getting 8.6% increases in my State and NHS pensions next month.

I recall trips to Yeovil, Bath and Swindon, Teignmouth away would have been almost like a home game! I wonder if I scored one, or missed loads , of those goals you conceded, it was either 85/86 or 86/87 when I played for them, probably the latter.

I think I got about £8 for an away game and £5 for a home game. The only season in my whole career, including the walking football I play now, that I didn't have to pay to play!

I played for Truro City for 1 season in the 1980s then dropped down a league the following season due to the inordinate amount of travel time for fixtures in the, at that time, South Western League. Setting off for games at 8am and getting home in the late evening wasn't my idea of fun.

Re: Season tickets next season
What you do is ensure the DD payment you would have made in April, is placed in your bank account. Then each month, a little of it will be taken for the other 11 months. If I didn't live hand to mouth every month I might be able to do that. On 2nd thoughts, I'm a spendthrift at heart, so I definite...

Why couldn’t the payments be split over 12 months like they currently are? I think that they are too late to set up a Direct Debit request for April because they have to give you, and your bank, at least 10 working days notice of the payment. If they decided to do 12 payments then they would be sho...

I spoke to the club yesterday and, apparently, there will be an email at the start of next week with all the renewal details. Additionally, there will be NO direct debit payment for April, which will mean people needing to pay in 11 instalments at most, meaning at least an 8.3% increase in the month...

They have to give the same as they did with Everton's 1st charge. 10 points reduced to 6 on appeal. Everton will get 10 points for the 2nd time with no reduction on appeal.

I tend to agree really, the likes of Forest, Everton, Brentford and Palace really aren't that great. Every season sees 6 or 7 clubs who aren't that great. In fact it could be argued that once you take the top 6 or 7 out of the equation the rest of the division isn't that great in any particular sea...

Meant to add (cannot edit) - A single PL player transfer could quite literally fund a lower league club for years upon years, it's wrong to witness a 153-year-old club crumble because of a questionable owner. It just doesn't sit right with me - surely changes are needed? That is business though. Th...

I believe that socks are now designated in the rules of both the PL and EFL (at least in the Championship) as having to be a single colour with, at most, a 12mm band set at the bottom of the 'turnover' at the top of the sock (no idea what that part is really called).

And even when we do equalise it is ruled out for a marginal free-kick call instead of the usual 'Let's see what VAR say' attitude from the ref. Then there is a penalty shout after, to be fair, minimal contact, that isn't given despite similar contact being seen as enough to chalk off Cullen's goal.

Strange how the 'impartial' media rate Trafford as either our best or 2nd best player today.
