Re: Artificial Intelligence
I use chatGPT to forecast Leeds results, it’s quite accurate. But it’s not infallible, I asked it to write an account of how Leeds won the European cup and it had the cheek to say it was fictional. ‘Leeds United’s Historic European Cup Triumph In a stunning chapter of football history, Leeds United ...

Re: PSR
Nothing I’ve seen of our current ownership makes me think they will be anything other than prudent. Not saying that’s bad but I can’t see us spending big.

Re: PSR
I’m not sure why PSR should worry either of us in the slightest. It’s a limit on how big our losses can be, in Leeds case they said up to £61m. As if somehow that’s a problem because other teams can lose £105m. There isn’t a cat in hells chance Leeds owners will be planning on losing that much. And ...

Re: PSR
It would be nice if for once we could buy success. But the current US owners are not going to do that.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Tue May 06, 2025 7:03 pmIt's exactly what I think Leeds will do, spend a bomb to get enough points to handle the points deduction and build from there

Re: Congratulations Leeds
The internet and social media is saturated with places to discuss Leeds United. Why are Leeds fans trying to do it on a Burnley FC board? You guys are discussing it, I just replied. I’m here because we both - in different ways - did exceptionally well to get 100 points, and I’m interested in seeing...

Local rivals (11 miles apart) Usual bad blood from bygone games and actions that have built up over the years. Plus they are by and large a bunch of stunted dullards. Who are your main rivals. Huddersfield, Bradford or Harrogate? On a bad day, Farsley Celtic I guess in yorks/humber area we’d say Hu...

Re: Congratulations Leeds
Just thinking. Prior to yesterday was there a bigger City without a PL team No. Leeds was the biggest. Sort of related to this question: New owners (and we’ve had a lot of them in the past 20 years, heaven help us) usually go on about Leeds being the largest city with only one club. (Liverpool, Man...

I’m learning a lot. Now let me get this right, you people don’t like Blackburn, is that right?
And why?
And why?

Life must be pretty dull and solitary seeing that you made the effort to register for this site in order to and have a some moments of fleeting attention. In fact…… I registered to see what Burnley fans were saying as we are both going up to the hellzone, having both done well here. I bothered to r...

Which team came second in 2020? Exactly.LincsWoldsClaret wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 10:41 pm100 points and the best defence since Dinosaurs roamed the Earth - if some other team scored some more goals then so what - who is going to care next year - or in a hundred years when our record will still stand.

Re: Congratulations Leeds
Well done, Leeds. They’ll go down in history as the best team in the league this year. However, 4 points taken from them, 100 points scored, only 16 goals conceded and 33 games unbeaten paints a slightly different picture. They might be the champions, but we are the record breakers. If the goals co...

Re: Who Do You Fancy for the Playoffs Then?
I think I worked out that since the prem started, the third placed club gets promoted 38% of the time. In this case, with 90 points, it would be a surprise if Sheffield did not get there. (Leeds were the team with 90 points last season who failed to go up, though the play off winners Southampton fin...

Re: Congratulations Leeds
Always interesting to see the same events from another perspective. My view is, on the ‘best team’ debate I have to say there was absolutely nothing in it. You have to look at the totality of the season and the table rarely lies. Clearly we were the best 2 teams and Sheffield the 3rd best, but well ...
