We didn't replace him though, that's the problem. He was the leader and literally led the press and helped to get us on the front foot.
We did, just not an exact replica.

Who does Brownhill replace out of Ugochukwu, Cullen and Florentino?

Re: Can I ask the Tresor question again?

Possibly/probably- who knows but in that case if you are not going to use him then why include him in the 25 when others could have? It just feels like it’s unnecessary drama. We all want the best for him and for him to be a massive success for us, but if he is not fit or unwell or whatever then jus...

Re: Brownhill

He's basically the polar opposite of Brownhill. Great on the ball but ambles round the pitch and doesn't make any of the off the ball runs Brownhill made to get into scoring positions It's not about whether he's the same type of player, it's whether he can replace him, which I agree I think he can....

Re: Match of the day

If the figures are to be believed, Rooney is trousering £800k from the BBC. When you consider its taxpayers money, makes you wonder if it’s decent value. Would a company like Sky be paying it, or would they have given him a probation period to hope he grows into his role. It just highlights my poin...

Re: Team for Leeds

It’s obvious we need that midfield 3 and I was surprised Parker didn’t opt for it today. Leeds will look to dominate the ball though so it’ll be a game of counter attacking for us I feel, so Foster should start. Hopefully Ekdal is okay as I’d start him. Leeds can look all they want. Re: Aston Villa vs THE SUPER CLARETS Match Thread

It gets to a point where we need to screw the 5 at the back.

If you have 2 defensive midfielders infront of a back 4, that really should be enough and it means we have the obvious 3 in central midfield.
