Nostalgia and age I guess. But even the Stan days I never held in the same regard. And I was of an age where I could ‘enjoy’ it too. So not entirely. Not to say the Stan times weren’t great for that period in the middle.Steve-Harpers-perm wrote: ↑Tue Jul 22, 2025 9:30 pmI’m sure age (older!) plays a part but as you say special times!

Surely City are our biggest bogey side ? Didn't seem to matter what level we played them at more often than not they just spank us I know Wigan were one believe it or not. Interesting list. This is PREMIER League only. But still. Nobody tops Goater (unless Kane scored against us in cups)?

Esteve was very cheap. That said we won't keep many clean sheets and he doesn't score many. Although when he moves to Spurs in august he will be a bargain. Tresor Cheap but not worth the gamble. Edwards on the other hand is. That said, the way points works - again he doesn't get enough assists and g...

There’s an argument for all of them. I loved Hendricks goal vs Bournemouth. And plenty of goals missing that could / definitely should be included. But I’d have to go for Blake. There is no way on gods green earth that Heaton should be starting for anyone next year. Never mind us. And he’s my favourite ever Burnley keeper. He’s not started a league game for almost six years. There's not really a decent breakfast about Burnley anymore, JJ'S used to be about the best but that's gone gash too It's all cheap and cheerful stuff. I won't eat cheap sausage Bistro 197 and HAPPA are both very good. And good value for money. Jjs at dunkenhalgh is decent but not as good as those.

I get it at its most basic level; Goal; keeper saves and its a corner; keeper saves and its held; player hits wide and its a goalkick; - what's the proposed protocol for hitting the woodwork or keeper saving it a long distance and rebounding back into play? Keeper gets a finger tip to the pen. But ...
