Whether it was down to Kompany, the recruitment team or
MUD analytics we made some shocking signings. Hard to even see the logic in some of them.
Suppose every clubs make poor signings but some of ours have been terrible
Churlinov at 3-4m is another shocking bit of business

What's caused it to change? Competition from offshore?
I don’t think Junior developers have ever been on £50-60k to be honest. Thats more a mid to senior developer salary.
Although near/offshoring development roles has definitely kept a cap on tech salary inflation in recent years.

Need to be roughly doubling the salary for the skills they want. Theyre paying the kind of money that a junior developer would be looking at. They will be working in a role that may involve working with the under 18s, so it is reasonable to request an enhanced check.
How would this role involve under 18s?

Interesting that
MUD Analytics are now recruiting after years of stating they have no full time employees
If a company states they have no employees, CP, it means they have no employees.
No need to see anything odd or unusual in that statement.

Correct Mooney & Kompany set up
Mud Analytics together be interesting to see how long Mooney stays with Burnley.
I’ve ran this through my staff retention algorithm model and think there will be a 35% chance he will still be here by the end of the month.

Interesting news re.
MUD analytics. Apologies if it has been reported before.
Already been mentioned - he might have resigned as a director but Plankton & Smallfish still listed as persons with significant control and he’s one of two directors of P&S.

I really don't see the problem with that.. the renting of decent accomodation to our young (imported) players.
If he’s got them to rent then rent by all means. But the whole
mud analytics as well as this seems he’s pimped us a bit. Just my personal view.
