Re: Match Thread - Wolves v Burnley
We sometimes seem to be inviting them to press high up the pitch by holding the ball in our keeper’s feet. But one bad pass spells immediate danger

Re: Match Thread - Wolves v Burnley
They waited for our mistake and punished it again.
We had our chances in first half and didn’t take them.
Second half disappointing.
Not too much in it, but we cannot afford to keep making the same mistakes

However sometimes rash in his decision making and often bad choices of positioning.
Good squad player though for the price paid

Re: REPORT: The home defeats keep coming
Dyche slipped back to the championship the first time of asking - so probably will VK.
It’s what happens thereafter that will count.
The squad under Dyche were much more robust and experienced, the one we have now much more talented but young and frail, but with a better sale on value

Re: Sacking Kompany
I wouldn’t sacrifice the VK playing style as yet. We’ve built our team to fit his principles just like we did last season. We could however do with a little ‘Dychism’ to close down games and shut up shop (f.eg. bringing on Eckdal). I use the word Dychism in the sense of prioritising results over sty...

We definitely should sue them.
Another thing: points deduction -10 but goal difference stays the same. Should’ve been -5 for each three points docked

I’m no tactical genius but one again the opposition put a man in front of Trafford (Rice)…. We have no one protecting him? Echo most of the above statements and all the best to Lyle. Put’s football into perspective, and hopefully a sign for some to be very careful in venting their frustration at our boys when things aren’t going well. Only those directly involved with the real and the players know what’s going on in the...

Great to have Beyer and O Shea back. Maybe JBG will have a more central role. Cork must be injured or I’ll, otherwise can’t see why he’s not at least on the bench. Big question marks on the selection of Vitinho though, he’s been our weakest link thus far this season. Finally, VK is sticking with Tra...

He is injured but that's an injury he's picked up at Norwich. I really do think his experience and leadership could have been invaluable this season. This is indeed a weak point which hasn't been properly addressed. I feared we would get done by this in the Everton game, and unfortunately it turned out like that... Young manager who outperformed last season and again a very young (but talented) squad. Football philosophy of VK is purist and entertaining to watch (football under SD was more realistic but very boring at times). As I said at the very start, VK will not sacrifice his style of play, so don’t expect...
