Re: World cup thread

No need for a new thread 'of it's own':

Stuart Pearce was asked today for his ' Dark Horse' prediction, he said: Morocco!

Morocco! He did say it, honestly.

See what I did here, World Cup related, so popped it on the World Cup thread.

Picking the golden boot winner is tricky. Previous winners are James Rodriguez, Diego Forlan, Miroslav Klose, Ronaldo, Davor Suker, Oleg Salenko and Salvator Schillachi. All good players of course, but the great Brazilian Ronaldo aside, I doubt they cost the bookies too much money. You win it by pl...

Having read most of the posts on here I think the players from the 60s where much more physical tackles were tolerated in a more physical game could be considered the hardest in general. So you've taken it on yourself to decide? I cannot find anywhere on this thread where it says that, you, South W...

Re: Office World Cup Sweep stake/lay betting question.

You can guarantee a £10.09 profit by laying Spain for £15.89 at 7.6 on betfair. You could just lay £5.25 at 7.6 to get your fiver back if they don’t win. In that scenario you would win £114.75 - your initial stake so £109.75 if Spain win. Both of the above don’t take the second place into considera...

Office World Cup Sweep stake/lay betting question.

I've drawn Spain, it's cost me £5, a Spain win will bag £120, runners up paying £60.

I don't think Spain will win so I'm looking to lay them on the exchange, any advice on best, most efficient, smart way of doing it.

Thanks in advance.

Why can't, as part of the deal, an agreement be put in place that if we are 3 or more goals up going into the last five minutes the mascot is allowed to come on?
