Re: Dyche has a big problem.

Some of the players are as much to blame as SD for this appalling away record Our ability to retain the ball is almost of schoolboy level and nobody is worse for this than Gray. He made some excellent movement during the game today but he just cannot control the ball. The same can also be said of B...

Re: I love Dyche - but why won't he use Defour?

Imagine he was didn't want to risk him yet. We need his quality up the field though, as our last pass was truly awful today. Brady had plenty of space and a couple of very good opportunities, but his final ball was dreadful - clearly out of form. However, the same can be said of quite a few others t...

Defour should be good to make the bench at least and affect the game if needed.
Would prefer him to start with Barton of course, but no need to rush matters

Re: Free roaming midfield/forward role for Defour?

I'll take those points in turn, Cricket Field Clarets, because you mention a number of myths that now need to be debunked, so regularly are folk expressing them. There's a risk of them turning into perceived wisdom despite the lack of substance behind them. He was about to move to an uncompetetive ...

Agree with RB partly & also with TVC15 partly. Of course Defour is no player for Spurs & the likes, but he surely is one of the most talented players we've ever had. We are not out of the relegation dogfight by a long while, so we need him back in the team, preferentially next week at Sunderland tog...
