Re: Lessons from tonight.
Be brave; have belief and anticipate potential moments as Boyd and Hendrick did; that moment of quality we havent executed recently but did tonight; there wasn't much else from either side but, as we've done over the years, we found a way and took our chance.

Re: Mighty Clarets versus Miserable Stokies
So who was it having a real go at Boyd earlier in this thread? Hang your head in shame! Not really hanging in shame but glad he got it and hope we go on to win it; he took it really well and got in a great position; Hendrick should be praised as well driving at their defence (look at my comments ab...

Re: Mighty Clarets versus Miserable Stokies
Lets be honest; how Boyd continues to start I'll never know; for running around OK; he can't run 10 yards without being caught; can't turn with the ball and get away; just passes backwards, always back to goal; never plays balls through; can't cross, hardly crosses when in position; defensively he a...

Re: Jeff Hendrick
Unfortunately, he's being used much more defensively with Joey in the middle and the 2 of them are hardly ever over the halfway line when we attack. When he was playing well, he was bombing forward supporting Vokes when we played one up or making runs in the channels with the 2 up (the wonder goal);...

Re: Technology has finally arrived
This could be ground breaking. It was like 45 seconds to overturn the 2nd linesman call. Quite a short time to get the correct call. One thing I noted was that the clock didn't stop during the decision moments; could this affect stoppage time minutes? Already, there are goals and subs minutes added...

Re: Name the player from the clubs they played for.
I gave the same answer but then realised he probably played for more clubs and Ireland didn't; he only played for those clubs listed.
For the record, got 13 but knew SWP at 20 but put Lampard thinking he might have moved recently to Phoenix!!

Re: O/T - Dutch report into Brexit and recommendations
Living in Europe my Dad decided to give me a bit of cash about a year ago so he changed Pounds to Euros (did it about a year and a half ago); he decided it was the best time as the exchange rate was about 1 pound to 1.10 euro.

Re: Haye v Bellew
Mercenaries the both of them; in it for the PPV, but how the winner can be so proud when Haye was half dead for half the fight kind of sums it up; he didnt really beat him; it was a complete mismatch for half the fight; Haye only had one leg to stand on; he should get another crack at him.

Re: Gutting but...
2 points away from home all season isn't an overreaction chief regardless of our position in the table; if you had seen today's game you would have seen a team that hasn't learnt much away from home from both players and manager; we were well beaten and even given a goal. But we should have enough f...
