Pubs mainly want bands playing stuff their punters know to attract them down the pub, in the past the pub would be full and just needed entertaining. I'd look up the careers of Mr Savage and then Bojan, before labelling the wrong one quality. I'll give you a clue. 1 has 200 appearances for the likes of Barca, Roma, Milan and Ajax as well as lots of medals for various trophies. The other played for average Blackburn, Leicester and Birmingham side...
