I was selling said programmes on that game in the Bob Lord stand. Got halfpence a programme for the first 100 I sold and 1p per programme thereafter.
Sold loads and got the princely sum of £2.50. Although I did get free admission plus a free pie!

Just so everybody is clear, the flight tracker was a p1sstake photo shop job. I can confirm that the story some posts further up of him coming by trawler was in fact correct. Unfortunately as reported earlier, one of our brethren jumped from a bridge having read this thread and landed on Sid trawler...

I had to read your reply a couple of times 1968 .... I thought you were having a go!! There was me offering a fleeting, wild thought/wish, albeit with no substance whatsoever apart from one of Claret and Blue blind hope and faith!! I think I've read it right now and you are with me ... anything see...

I have a feeling we are not only after both but we will get both!!!! He's not our best defender. It's not trolling if it's a fact. He has cost us so many points this season. Keane and Tarkowski should be our starting partnership. He has also been part of a defence that has gained us a lot of points. He was excellent today. If you want to look for mistakes that cost ...

An enjoyable albeit not fluent game of football. Thought we gave as good as we got against a good established premier league team.

Re: Nothing to criticise at Burnley.
I do sort of get the desire for prettier football but really I think that is just being greedy. Having watched Burnley for 40 years, if you can't just sit back and enjoy the current season then really I don't think you will ever be happy. Can it get any better? Who knows, but it sure has been a hell...

Yes and yes. There were some positives though. Such as, in the middle of the match, I could shout to my mate across in theBob Lord stand ( I was in the Longside) and arrange where we would meet for a pint after the game. For the younger ones on here, mobile phones hadn't been invented!!

He's currently 7/1 to join the Clarets. A chum of mine who works for Paddy Power says they've taken a £5,000 pound bet on him joining from someone called Camel Grusikhi who has a French IP address. We should not count our chickens. However it is interesting to note that the bottom 3 all need to double or nearly double their points gained so far, just to catch our current points tally!
