Burnley Spurs final in 1962.The day I started supporting Burnley aged 6 as my Dad and my 2 brothers supported Spurs. I remember crying when we lost! Both my sons also support the clarets and I am working on the grandchildren.

Excellent thread and I have always believed to appreciate winning you need to learn how to lose and boy have we fans of many years done so! Carrying on the "journey" theme that my children said and now grandchildren say "are we there yet"? I think we are very close.

Usually see 6 or more evening performances each year at the Minack. Always enjoyable, good value and superb location. 2016 was very mild and dry.Well worth a visit. The traveling Globe theatre company from London visit every 2 years or so and each year the Cambridge University company perform a Gilb...

Have lived in Cornwall for the last 28 years or so. Happy to help re. places to visit etc. Am based in the Charlestown/Fowey/Mevagissey area, 5 minutes from St Austell Brewery and 10 minutes to the Eden Project. There are so many places to visit, cant really help with camp sites etc but PensansClare...

Retired from teaching. Started teaching History in Essex and then moved to Cornwall. Really loved working with 11-18 year olds, enjoyed running a History department, finished as a deputy head and training school director working with trainee teachers ,NQTs and those moving through the threshold etc....
