We lost two points at Wolves several years back for similar. Ward, trying to clear, kicked Jiminez.
It has always been that way. If you kick the ankle and not the ball it’s a pen.

Forgot to say. The Dublin Express bus goes Airport>Heuston and return. No messing about with changes. They have a desk at airport but easier and cheaper to buy online. They honour delayed flights.

Why do players charge in to rip the ball from the keeper after a goal?

Gets of with controversy at St James’. Penalty awarded after VAR. Gordon clearly offside but Mavrapanos making an attempt to clear nullifies the offside.
I have to feel for the defender. All their careers they are training to get the ball away from the danger zone. It needs reviewing.

David Webb reffing and as mentioned earlier in the thread he is another letting the game flow and turning down appeals that would have been given 2 months ago.

Ipswich were fine. They played deeper second half looking for breakaways but the few they got they wasted.
Fiddlers did sweet fanny adams. The chances they got all came from Ipswich messing about at the back. Overall Ipswich defended well.

Think they could have been given either. Refs letting lots go. Don't mind that, but he's going to have to keep a lid on it. Refs have been letting things go for the last couple of months. If they are going to change interpretations they should at least announce it so everybody knows where they stand.

Couple of thoughts: 1. You can't stay more than 90 days in Europe, so we should get '9 years and 9 months! (But we don't) 2. We don't even get 9 years and 6 months because we have to order a new one early and post off our old, active passport. You can order your new passport within 9 months of expi...

Quick call to Ryanair this morning and it was amended for free, much to my delight. I was expecting a charge.

Wales v Poland for me tonight. A competitive game rather than a chance to throw caps about. Really ticked off with Mainoo getting caps when he is in his apprenticeship. England caps should be earned.

Cullen gets MoM on Irish tv. Deservedly for me. He does everything he’s asked to do well, winning his challenges and laying off simple balls to teammates if he could find more killer passes, like the one to Vitinho for the pen last week, he’d be a hell of a player.
