Now we’ve moved on a day I can say how amazed I was that yesterdays stage winner, the Australian Jay Vine, got his pro contract via becoming the World Champion e-cyclist on Zwift. E-games are bringing new stars forward that just need a break.

Tight and tense, and these low scoring thrillers are always the best tests in my view, key for England that we get as big a 1st innings lead as possible, because batting 4th on this could be tricky to say the least.
Batting 4th on the 3rd day won’t be as difficult as day 5.

It’s the simulation leading to a red card that’s done for him and quite right. Should have been a game changer thankfully it wasn’t.

No spoiler from me but on Quest at 7pm and Eurosport from 8pm. Enjoy.

All handbags. Just watched it again. Brownhill immediately gets to Maatsen to get him out of there. Two Lashers come charging in but no offence. Maatsen reacts but no offence. Then it is pre-dominantly players getting team mates away. Cork kept his arm around Lashers captains neck longer than requir...

Very much seems we want a few 5m players rather than 1 10m player
Working on the theory that half will work out. The £10m player might be as much use as Gary Birtles at ManU.
All these £2m players have a better chance of improving their value as an added extra.

Rangers through. A very good performance against as poor a PSV side as I’ve seen in a long time.
And yes Van Nistelrooy did have a long face at full time.

Would you say Brighton have the very best quality? Why are they able to do it successfully? And they are just one example… I think it also has a lot to do with the quality of coaching. They might have had a good start this term but they conceded plenty last year with messing about and they are only...

Take the lead in Eindhoven after more p1ssing about at the back. Identical to the goal we gave away on Saturday. Keeper plays a ball out to his CB, who has a worse touch than Cullen, Tillman nips in, robs him and lays it square for Colak to play into an empty net. When will this madness end? Only th...

Wonderful voice but saw her kick off at some poor soul in the front row at MEN and I’ve never liked her since. They had to stop the show and Dave Stewart came out and told a couple of jokes whilst she composed herself. Very Prima Donna.

If we are signing another short arse, we really need to start putting games to bed. We don't have the height to deal with an aerial onslaught.
I think they are expecting our 6’13” keeper to claim most of the open play crosses, in the danger zone. Dead balls could be a problem.

I doubt they would be able to improve on Southgate as what he's done over the last 6 years is nothing short of outstanding

Agree Pep is streets ahead of any other manager on the planet so as long as he stays at City their dominance will continue
That would be their dominance of English football. Still haven’t proved themselves in Europe and with the backing Pep has been given they should have.

Very short highlights but 3 times Ash Barnes shows for the ball and doesn’t get the pass. Still gets slagged off on here for only having 10 touches. Stats eh!!

Not sure if your are suggesting that Dyche is a bad loser or whether you are saying that he isn't a top coach?
He's a top coach and a bad loser.

BBC: Goal! Shrewsbury Town 0, Burnley 1. Samuel Bastien (Burnley) right footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom right corner. Assisted by
Benson Manuel.
Are BBC mixed up with Manuel Benson's name? Or, is this me?
UTC
I’ve seen him called that elsewhere.

My mistake on that, assumed he was born in Yorkshire for some reason, but point still stands with the others though
I have also read he was born in Bedale, as was Simon Grayson.
I’ll trust CT though.

Thanks for putting this thread up. Love this kind of thing. One of the great things about football. Could spend ages looking at it. You would like this site then. Select league and then you have all the highlighted options with sub-groups below many. https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/championship ...

With respect to Dave Roberts, good that he has this list and that he identifies 80 players that he doesn’t know about (and therefore how he knows there are eighty unknowns is beyond me) Not sure where you are coming from here. It reads to me that there are 80 known players that have no caps and he ...

I took a kicking in the week for saying he’s not a footballer. He terrifies me every time he takes a back pass. This is not the first time, in fact he has played a ball out to a marked Josh Cullen in every game. He needs to get his head up and see what is on.

Wasn't there a memorable goal scored for Wales following a link up between John Toshack and Brian Flynn where they passed the ball to each other 'several times (three perhaps,) before BF put it in the opposition goal ? Or am I getting JT mixed up with someone else ? This one. https://youtu.be/rpRMW...

Sergeant gets away with 3 or 4 barges to score. Barnes was getting pulled for every one of them at Watford.
I don’t like the barge in the back but I could get used to it if they would just be consistent.
Robert Jones with the whistle so, as we know, he makes it up as it goes along.
