Re: Cole Palmer
Very good player. The best on the pitch against us at weekend. He doesn’t make England’s first eleven for me but he’s got to be worth a place in the squad - his penalty record makes that a no-brainer.

UK disclosure rules do not say that directors need to disclose remuneration that they have received from an affiliate company. The remuneration that directors disclose is only for remuneration from the company and its other group companies. What does have to be disclosed is monies paid by BFC to an...

I didn't claim, I quoted the accounts that state it. I also said a management fee paid to an affiliate doesn't indicate that Alan Pace and other directors were paid that management fee. It's not only possible, it's certain. The accounts say it was paid to an affiliate. But, just because Alan Pace is a director of the company providing management services doesn't mean that the fee was paid to Alan Pace or any other directors. Maybe it's, in part, pays for JJ Watt and Kealia Watt (a...

Hi Ian, I don't think anyone has answered your question. The latest set of accounts very clearly state that none of the directors received any remuneration for their services. Completely agree that this was a deliberate strategy to facilitate the purchase. It’s a very simplistic argument to say that Garlick ran the club “properly” and never took any remuneration or dividends. If he would have taken £7m or £8m dividend every season there would be outrage amongst many fans...

Initially when Bellamy was appointed, I was influenced by his "on the edge " playing style, and assumed he would let VK know his views. Imo, the goal would have been given. The VAR check had been completed, the ref signalled goal and pointed to the centre spot for Burnley to restart the game. Every player was in his correct half of the pitch and the Wolves keeper was miles out of his nets. That's his problem. I just wished so much ...

Re: Not Flagging Offsides
My issue is that when we win the ball back from an attack, the linesman waves the delayed flag, and then the referee stops play, which kills the advantage after we win back possession. It kills the momentum, the opposition has regrouped, and I'm not sure if the time is added on for the free kick to...

Realistically we were consigned to relegation some time ago, but the recent run of results and good performances has left us with a very outside chance. A good point last night although we've left ourselves in a position where points at home to bottom half/middling teams is not going to cut it. On a...

When the ref gives a penalty, VAR will not overturn it unless they can prove that the forward was not touched. If there was the merest touch, then it will be confirmed. That's the way the powers that be think it should be done, for the time being. Exactly. Even though I was apoplectic when it was g...
