We did sign two keepers who were about to become league one keepers. One I think was released as his team was relegated the other we payed money for despite him playing a part in relegating his team. Both then played for England as I recall

I think Bertie Mee had two daughters and if they followed convention then any children would not be a Mee. As Bertie was born in 1918 it is most unlikely his daughters would have had children out of wedlock. My guess is that Ben does not have a famous great grandfather
