Re: Vuelta (cycling)
Obviously did not make it clear. My wife went e bike for her 70th, my oxford bike is a pedal cycle with amazing gears 36 on back, 18 on front and yesterday I got up Alto del Angliru on it. A truly amazing ride with the last 5km being in brilliant sunshine above the cloud layer. Lots of high fives wi...

Two weeks later he turned up at our house with a newly built bike in the back of his car and said she could have it for what he had s...

Re: Declaring on 18-1
A similar thing happened nearly 40 years ago in the Benson and Hedges Cup. Somerset would qualify from the group stage and go into the knock out stage if the lost no wickets against Worcestershire. Brian Rose declared the Somerset innings after playing out one over at 1-0 (a no ball!). Worcestershir...

Re: Burnley Grammar School/Habergham High School
Bob Emmett in post 111 was probably Steve Emmett, I took the bus to school with him and I know he did end up teaching at bgs. He was captain of the 1st XI in 1964/65 the year we beat Martin Dobsons Clitheroe rgs 7-0. As for Tag Fraser, I also heard it was from trig, algebra and geometry when I was a...
