Re: ARTICLE: BT to screen cup tie
There may of been 14000 of us at the Bristol game but that wasn't an early kickoff and live on TV.

Re: ARTICLE: BT to screen cup tie
We will be quiet even if we do have our usual section of the cricket field stand. Always a rubbish atmosphere for early kickoffs, and a lot of our fans will be turning up just expecting to win easily. We should be capable of beating Lincoln at home no matter how many tickets we give them.

Re: ARTICLE: BT to screen cup tie
Would be poor form by us if we just give them 2,500 tickets IMO. Can just imagine all the whingeing and moaning on here if we were in their shoes and got such a small allocation. We may as well get the ground filled, the stupid kickoff time and live coverage will put plenty of our fans off, do we re...

Re: Hull City Tickets
Reckon everyone who wants a ticket will just about get one. A lot of our fans only seem interested in watching us away if we're playing somewhere like Old Trafford or Anfield.

Re: Banana skin?
We'll have given them the option of taking the full end, there just wasn't the demand for it. Lincoln could easily shift 4000 tickets.Falcon wrote:Like we did for Sunderland and Bristol City you mean?

We'll give them the full CFS because FA cup rules are that you have to offer the away team more tickets ClaretMatt.

Re: FA Cup draw thread
At this stage I'd like to think Dyche will put our strongest team out, it's not every year we get an opportunity like this. Pretty sure they'll be able to fill the cricket field stand, not sure we'll be on TV though.

Re: Watford Away
Going off the clubs past record I would say it's more likely to be a cock up than them making a common sense decision. Seem to recall same thing happened with Charlton away last season.

Think you will be fine, everyone who wants a ticket will get one. A lot of our fans only seem interested in watching us away when we play at grounds like Old Trafford and the Emirates.

Re: Sunderland FA Cup: sub 10k?
Don't see why we can't have some tickets at the turnstile? There all manned anyway, just hand your money over, get your ticket and go through, Sunderland seemed to manage it OK last week? Can someone enlighten me what exactly are the benefit of these fancy electronic turnstiles? Am struggling to thi...

Certainly better than Forster on yesterdays evidence. Hart still England's best keeper for me though.

If you weren't impressed with him on the Turf Shore Claret you're either very hard to please or haven't got a clue about football. He was their best player by some distance.

Re: New Bob Lord stand
No need to do anything with the Bob Lord, ground is perfect size as it is. We certainly don't want another two tiered, cheap, badly designed stand like the James Hargreaves.

Re: March/April televised games?
We got burnt last season booked our trains to Brentford then Sky moved it to Friday night! Won't make that mistake again. Yeah very frustrating, a pity that the fans who actually attend matches are right at the bottom of the list of people considered.

Re: March/April televised games?
It seems to be about two months in advance usually. Got a feeling the March games will be announced pretty soon. Unfortunately the April games probably won't be announced for another month. I'm in same boat am hoping to get something booked for Palace at the end of the April. By the time they announ...

Tripper is a much better footballer but Walker has got the pace and strength. How often does Walker deliver a quality ball into he box? Can't think of many to say how much he gets forward.

Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
Really hard to understand the clubs logic with certain decisions. We refuse to take full allocation of tickets for certain away games in case we have to pay for a few hundred unsold, but then open every area of the ground next week when it probably won't even be half full.

I know they've got good support but will be amazed if Sunderland bring 4000 down on a freezing cold evening in January.

We offered him a new deal but it was blatantly obvious he wouldn't get much football. He only really played in the promotion season when Dyche didn't really have a choice.

Just because Dyche doesn't rate him doesn't mean he not up to it. He didn't rate Stanislas either and he's gone on to prove himself a comfortable Premiership player.

Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
Surely the club can arrange one or two cash turnstiles? Sunderland managed it yesterday. If they make it all ticket they've only got themselves to blame when we get a pathetic attendance.

Re: FIFA fines home nations over poppies
But Fifa are perfectly happy for Qatar to build their world cup stadiums using migrant workers as pretty much slave labour.
