Re: Home before the final whistle
Cool, that makes sense. From My perspective I enjoyed the fact that the club didn’t buy into all of the myths about football… that you could only play one way, that you had to spend huge money on over valued footballers with questionable morals and attitudes, and I enjoyed that hard work, endeavour,...

Re: Cowards
Absolutely. Arsenal, I'd argue, are favourites to win the league and, off today's showing, are a much better all-round side than Liverpool or City. Their midfield is incredibly strong, the best of the lot. Great news…. You’ve found the investment opportunity of the year, because Arsenal are actuall...

Re: Home before the final whistle
You don’t understand what I’m getting at? It’s really simple: the other teams around us, that are not in the relegation zone, have spent more than us over the last two years. Maybe not all more than us last summer but definitely over the last two. Thats no excuse, it’s just fact. £96m is a lot to u...

I believe it's the advent of 5G radio waves.... it eliminates semi skimmed milk bacteria, meaning your milk will never go off.
Or they fry your brain, so you can't smell off milk any more.... maybe that's the situation.

India win by 106 runs . Pretty poor show from Eng attempting to get a last innings total of almost 400 in a test in India by playing Bazball Or - a pretty amazing effort to get relatively close to a target that nobody realistically expected them to achieve. 2 tests in, both effectively decided by a...

Move Twine and BPF into the second category and rename that category "whether they come back depends on whether we get a suitable offer which gives us a profit" and I think that is about right. My guess would be
BPF, Roberts, Weghorst, Twine, Egan-Riley, Churlinov, Bastien - aren't likely be back at Burnley
Mcnally, Costellor and Obafemi - won't be back if can be sold for a profit
Zaroury, Mellon and Dodgson - likely to return

Odds reflect what bets have been placed. If I put £1 million on us to stay up today, the odds will change massively. Not because the chances of us staying up have changed, but because the bookmakers need to cover my bet in case it wins. Odds reflect the betting patterns, not reality. Hence why the ...

For a start, 111m euros is £95m. Quite a few of them are also incorrect. Ramsey was £12m, not £14m. Amdouni’s €18m will undoubtedly include bonus clauses. Odobert was reported at €11m not 12.
