Agree again, scouse claret. And your final point about our distinct lack of resilience, that mental toughness that was an integral part of a Sean Dyche team is a very worrying factor. How to get it back is also a concern. It can't just happen,it took months and months of hard work on the training gro...

Going round in circles here. They are a very talented, skilful and horrible bunch of individuals. I agree their new boss has got them playing well(currently 2nd place). Today's outing produced a much different scoreline than last April but as far as we are concerned a sharp fall in intensity from us.

No. Just a realization that until we're taken over by a Billionaire, that we'll struggle to compete with teams such as Chelsea. Who'd have thought? We competed with them here 6 months ago. No Brady or Defour then. Were the personnel on duty that night so significantly different from today?

There's no doubting a very dis-spirited team on the pitch, possibly as poor as I've seen with Sean Dyche in charge. Are we beginning to see the same affliction affecting the manager? Certainly seems to be an air of resignation in what he has to say.

The team looks flat. That's not about today or last week, although we all know we were far more competitive against the best sides last season that we have been so far this year. For me it stems from the summer. The message that we sent out was "as you were". Ignoring the fact that our relatively s...

We gave them far too much space and showed them too much respect. We looked good for the first 10 mins or so but we were scared to put the ball in the box. Barkley was given the run of the midfield - we'd never have allowed so much space in previous years. The second and third goals were just embar...

Just wondering how many Chelsea fans travel up from West London. On leaving this fixture over the last few seasons there are usually no more than two or three coaches lined up so I'm assuming that many of their fans on the day have travelled from places nearer to us than London. Just a thought.

Went to Ewood Park on many occasions in the 60's. Always hoping,of course, that the opposition would win. One game in particular stands out; in 1963 they beat Spurs 7-2 on the same day we won at Everton 4-3. At the end of the same season we also beat Spurs 7-2 at Turf Moor.
