Burnley 7 Charlton 1 (1983)
I seem to remember hearing that the full game was shown a few weeks later on a screen at the Centre Spot.
Has anybody got a copy of this game anywhere on vhs or dvd?

Re: Burnley and Penalty Shoot Outs
I remember a Lancs Manx Cup Final victory on penalties on the Turf but the opposition escapes me. Prior to 92/93 season I think? Bury. David Williams saved 2 in the shootout and 1 in normal time. No extra time that night either. Straight to penalties after 90 minutes. I think Paul McKenzie scored i...

season review dvd 2005-06
Hello.
Been searching fruitlessly for the last few years for a copy of the season review dvd for 2005-06 so I thought I'd see if anybody on here had a copy gathering dust that they wanted to sell.
Thanks very much.

Burnley 7 Port Vale 0
Just seen this on youtube from November 1983 - 6-0 up at half time.
I can't ever remember being 6-0 up at half-time in the time that I've been watching Burnley.
Was there a time under Bond when excitement was starting to grow and the fans thought that he might do a good job?

Re: Fattest player to have played for the Clarets ?
Definitely Ian Bray for me. Remember seeing him against Stockport in the Autoglass in 1992 and he did not look like a footballer at all. The odd player before or since might have looked a couple of pounds overweight but Bray just looked like a very fat amateur that had been drafted in from the pub l...

Re: The 'I was there' thread
I was there when the plane went over Turf Moor in the play off game against Torquay in 1991. I was there when the fans turned their backs in the 3.33 protest against Crewe in 1996. I was there when Paul Barnes scored 5 in a game vs Stockport in 1996 - and was not happy that he was subbed, I wanted h...

Re: ARTICLE: Fans demand removal of Adamson
Interesting that (as far as I'm away) Adamson is the only one of our managers to bounce back from such criticism to take the club on to future success. Bond, Casper, Mullen and Laws were all gone (and without managing to țurn things around) within a short space of time after the fans started to vent...

Re: Sorry, what's our greatest ever comeback?
I can't see many home teams who are through on away goals after 90 minutes of the second leg opting to play an extra 30 minutes just because they are on their own patch. I remain unconvinced, it's a stupid lob sided rule. I think the theory is that ideally it should be settled: 1st by an extra half...

Re: Sorry, what's our greatest ever comeback?
Never ever understood that rule for that comp Wellernut. If scores are level after 2 legs how can it be that one team is only given 90 minutes to score away goals but the other team gets 120 minutes. One of the most Utterly ridiculous and lob sided rules ever concocted... But the other team is give...

Re: Dynamo Brest question
Programme from the tour to Russia. The Burnley team is a bit out of date. Worked out it's the 88 Wembley squad. Had coffee with Mike Conroy last week, took this to show him. He was amazed to see it. How did you manage to figure out its the 1988 squad? And how on earth did you end up having coffee w...

Sheffield United FA Cup 1993 (crush)
Just seen the goals from the Sheffield United FA Cup game from 1993 on that @burnleygoals twitter account. Does anybody remember any crushing that day? I remember being right at the front and the Burnley fans surging forwards every time Burnley attacked. Not sure how bad it was but I remember being ...
