Hope the injury is not as serious as it looked. Feel sorry for him as he has had a miserable season, looking out of his depth at this level. I'm never sure what his role is on the pitch and, the trouble is, I don't think he does either.

I thought that if you tried to stop a free kick being taken quickly by standing in front of the ball you received a booking but today most referees don't seem to be doing that.

I think that Hull's plan is to pass the ball between themselves until the Sunderland players get so bored they eventually fall asleep allowing Hull to get a shot at goal. Which they, of course, with blast into the crowd.

Good game between Ipswich and Sunderland. Both teams playing at a high pace. If, as looks likely, we drop into the Championship it will be interesting to see if our current crop of players can cope with the speed and physical demands needed.

Must admit when I saw our central midfield pairing I thought Spurs would be out of sight by halftime but we have done pretty well so far.
