He certainly is, having refereed 34 matches in the PL including our 4-0 win at Wolves a couple of seasons ago. I thought that he was not on top of his game tonight.

Sad news, he was an excellent full back who I watched regularly in the mid-1960s at Fulham. A one-club man and World Cup winner.

INdia progressed from 62 for 2 after 10 overs to 168 for 6 ----over 10 runs per over in the second half of the innings.

Very hard fought and no quarter asked. Samoa now meet England in the semi-final next Saturday.

We have played 64 matches at Bramall Lane and won just 6 so no surprise in suffering our 39th defeat today ----always been one of those grounds!
We have played them 65 times at the Turf and they have won just 14 and will be due their 39th defeat in the return fixture later in the season.

HIstorically this is one of our 'bogey' grounds. A win in 1973 and another in 2008 are the only two victories in 21 visits in the last 50 years. MInd you, they are lucky today because I am not there, having witnessed 20 defeats at Bramall Lane over the last 60 years! Come on you Clarets!

Well, England doing things the Burnley way in making everybody sweat when it should have been easy after the start we had.
