Re: FAO Ashingtonclaret, or anyone in Northumberland
Aye, I have to admit that it is a real bind living in this beautiful county when I could have stayed in Oswaldtwistle all my life. Walk along the banks of the Wansbeck tomorrow and in 30 minutes I shall be on Sandy Bay between Cambois and Newbiggin ---it's a hard life! I have to thank my missus, who...

Sorry to read that you’ve given up your ST Ashington, I don’t get down too often nowadays. May bump into you at some non league game, I go occasionally to South Shields and Darlo. Hi Colburn, I shall be away with Ashington AFC at Carlisle that night. I gave up my ST at the Turf last season because of the Covid problems and have been doing non-league ever since. Have a good trip and let's hope for another good result.

I think it's good that this has happened and I want to see more of it. Of course the Wigan player's red card should also be rescinded. It's fortunate that Wigan won the match and justice was served. With no VAR it should be checked. I hope to see more of this so we can deter cheating. Clubs should ...

I don't wish to nit pick as he was good but I will! 1. Egan-Riley pulled a Shrewsbury player back and a free kick wasn't awarded but normally a player would get a yellow card for that. He didn't. 2. Tella got injured and was treated on the pitch but didn't go off to the sidelines to return. He just...

You can park down the far end away from the shops but it will cost you a fiver I think. You turn in as though you are going into the retail park but then go right on the roundabout just inside and continue down to the end. It is around a 15 to 20 minute walk to the ground.

To describe the nature of a game you need to use an adjective. Here are some good ones he could have used.
