Re: Today's Game
The better team overall did win on the night, and the best team throughout the tournament is walking away with the trophy so cant have too many complaints. Enjoyed the whole championship far more than I thought I would. The officiating and use of VAR far superior to what we see in the prem. England ...

Re: Today's Games
I was going to post at half time that the comments on Shaw were bizarre. Hes been one of our best players in the tournament for me. If you were to criticise anyone at half time, maybe Walker after a couple of shaky minutes (one bad giveaway then waiting for Pickford when it was never his ball). A go...

Must admit Attwell does seem to have taken quite some time with the VAR this evening.
I do think hes one of the best refs in the prem generally though ,pretty understated and tries to let the game flow generally.

Hopefully that's the end of this referees competition though, some shocking decisions which should have been overturned.

A definite foul to me, the initial contact from Moore is side on, the contact from the defender isnt and is excessive. Pretty poor by the officials as was the yellow he received in the first half..
Denmark gave played very well though.

Definitely has a lot of ability but looked extremely naive when playing for us. Whilst on paper Swansea looks like a good move I think he needs games and to get more streetwise. If he gets that at Swansea then fantastic but my feeling is a season as first choice at a good league one side may be bett...

Thought we played some decent stuff in the World Cup with Sterling and Rashford either side of Kane. Much better to watch, and looked very dangerous on the counter. Now we are trying to play like Man City and it is tedious, as it has been for the bulk of the last 20 years.

Norris 5 - quite how he let that shot in I dont know. Honestly I would have saved it. Kicking ok but otherwise not up to standard. Lowton 6 - thought he played reasonably well, our main threat from wide which says something... Tarkowski 7* - very little wrong today thought he played well. Dunne 5 - ...

Not convinced by Billing at all. Lerme would be a better shout but would need a lot of work on his discipline/diligence. Has the potential to be a very good premier league player for me. Out of all mentioned though Gallagher would be my favourite. I think he would be excellent for us tucked in on th...

Wood and Brownhill should both have done much better with the chances in the first half. One cleared off the line too in the second. It was too big a step up for Norris tonight unfortunately. Looked a foul on Vydra in the build up, completely taken out of the game.
Poor from our midfield on the goal though, caught way out position. No blame on Tarks at all, hes been one of our best players.

Another season of premier league football so cant complain too much but that was as poor as I can remember us, barring 25 ok minutes in the first half. It's either an error or a very, very heavily incentivised role. A lot of sales roles in the US have a relatively low basic wage but then great earning potential through bonuses. Potentially our owners are structuring the package in a similar way to what it would be in the US.

You see defenders clear those sort of balls all the time in a game. He coulsnt see Longstaff so not sure how it could be constituted as dangerous.
