Wonderful to have a LB that can smash a ball with his right foot without thinking about it.

In the German version of the Charity Shield. In added time Bayern player goes down, time wasting. On the re-start Leipzig play the ball out to the touchline, player traps the ball on the outside edge of line. Bayern player walks over and picks the ball up for a throw in. Lino flags for handball. Re: RATE THE REF - James Linington v Huddersfield Town
Overall he was ok. Given the blatant penalty he didnt award us I reckon we'd have had a very different reflection on it had we not collected all 3 points. One of the angles on tv showed that he could not see if there was contact with the ball or not. On that basis he can’t give it but the lino down...

Yes and I also think he needs to get back to work pretty sharpish... If Kompany is a success and gets us back into the Premier League playing football like we did yesterday, then Sean's stock will fall if he is still out of work and the myth blown open, that clubs like us have to play dour football...

Grinds my gears why Salah would grab the ball and go and stand on the spot to be confronted by Ederson. I’d get as far away as possible and tell the ref, “I’m taking it get him on his line and I’ll come forward”.

I’ve already watched it back and the second half is a bit of a disappointment once you know the outcome. For folk who are into systems it is worth a watch for how fluid we were.
