Re: Burnley v Wolves - Player Ratings

Really excellent to get a point against a quality Portugal team on form. We restricted them to very few chances and their goal was somewhat fortunate, but a great strike. They control possession and we looked tired, especially in midfield. We gave the ball away too much, but we were always under pre...

Pope 9 - He was excellent. So good for him to keep commanding catching and punching. It relieves the pressure on the defense - even if he occasionally drops a ball. Bardsley 8 - Battled well all night - makes it so difficult for attackers Long 8 - He's done really well with no match time this season...

I think a lot of people on here are missing what Sean himself said. Not an exact quote but something like, "We often have disagreements but I like to park them quickly." That to me suggests that any disagreement is now 'Parked' and they have moved on. Sean has lost two 'Past it' players and kept on...

It looks like Sean has got fed up with the financial constraints. The board will need to look for further investment to keep him satisfied and moving the team forward, otherwise it will be just a matter of time before he looks elsewhere.

Hi All
Just spotted the NOW TV offer of £25 per month.

I can't see whether you are committed to 3 months to get the £25 pm deal?
I don't need 3 months, but it might be worth taking a look at.

Very unlucky not to win it - well done to SD and the team.

We won't be the only team made to look ordinary by this Liverpool team, and unfortunately a day when they get the big break of luck and gift them a goal is never going to be a day when we get a result against them. Pope 7 - Not a lot to do - a good tip over but a bit of hesitation Lowton 6 - Good going forward, but doesn't get tight enough defensively - I think he will struggle this season against better wingers Pieters 7 - Got better as the game went on - Great cross for the second goal - not sure about his d...

I agree with claretspice. Playing any of Colin's teams, you know they are going to be physical and bomb the box. Losing Tarky was a blow and we were certainly hanging on for much of the game. Cork and Westwood really struggled to keep the ball. I'd have gone 5 in midfield perhaps? Hart 8 - excellent...
