The drawing of lines for offside drives me insane, disallowing a goal because a players little finger was over the line is killing the game. The amount of time it takes is ridiculous, it's bad enough watching it on TV. I can only imagine how it sucks the life out of the atmosphere of being at the ga...

I was in Leppings Lane, someone else said this one and PNE were most memorable that year. Also remember a bunch of Burnley fans in open end, having to come across field to Leppings lane, some went to help from Leppings.

Great story Rammy, very similar to mine.. Mine started 71-72 a 9 year old walking through the Longside the noise, the claret & blue scarfs the smell of pipe smoke. We ended at opposite sides of the world, but same experience of Turf Moor. Long live the Clarets!

A friend of mine was a director there back in the late 70s early 80s our sunday league team played there quite often.. On Saturdays I played for a local team Ashton United it's a sad day when teams like this can't survive

I played for a couple of seasons in the Saturday Manchester league, There was a headcase who played for the Bricklayers arms his team mates called him Brain damage... Not the funniest but one that I can never forget.

I think bringing on Vydra and JBG made a difference in the way we played. And I have to say I'm impressed with Brownhill too, he plays with confidence and is only going to get better.

I was born in 1962 last time we won there. Absolutely loved this win!! and to think I was a Man U fan up until 9 years old thank you to my step brother for taking me to the Turf in 1971. The whole team were fantastic and what a goal from Jay Rod F...ing brilliant! I'm so glad I support Burnley. UTC!!
