Re: 8 point gap

And just to reinforce your point about Fulham, it could be mentioned that in those 11 matches (7 points) they have scored 6 goals. Blimey! and people think we're shot-shy, in those same 11 matches we've scored 8 I think, however we've amassed 16 points in that same period. And that's the difference...

Still to play Fulham twice. Still to play Brighton, West Brom and Newcastle at home and have a game in hand on all those sides. Losing 2-0 last night wasnt ideal but Fulham lost the same score and one less game to catch us. Yes Brighton won 1-0 at Anfield but that only matches our result. Some of t...

West Brom's next 2 are Spurs and United, Fulham's next 2 are West Ham and Everton, so we could well find ourselves 10 points or more above the bottom 3, with the games running out for them.

Hmm! not sure about that, they impressed in their win at Villa tonight, and have a fair gap to the mid-table teams, I can't see them gate-crashing the top 4, but a EL spot isn't out of the question for them.

The current bottom 3 will go down, yes we've had a couple of setbacks, but against Chelsea and City that's to be expected, and the table could look very different after the next 3 games, the only team in the bottom 8 to have beaten us is Newcastle, and that was at the start of the season when we wer...

No disgrace in losing to the team likely to be crowned champions in a few months, and 2-0 is at least respectable. The better news is Fulham also lost at home, so the gap remains 8 points, I'd have settled for that after facing Chelsea and City, now we have games where we can pick up points, and the...

More importantly Newcastle lose at Home, so we've gone up a place, at least for 24 hours.
