Re: Defour to have operation

Going to be a massive miss! Ulvestad on the bench says it all. We should have signed a number 10 type central midfielder to free up Hendrick to a deeper role giving us more cover.

Re: 10mill bid for Worrall

Would have liked this to come off at the right price. Burnley have done right to say no to the inflated asking price however. We still need another cb though, domino effect if we gain one injury to a cb....Taylor loves across if ward is fit he goes back to left back if not Beardsley at left back.......

Re: Will Sean start Lennon or Nkoudou?

I suspect he will pick one of Lennon/GKN, leaving one on the bench to bring fresh legs on for the other later in the game. Personally I’d like to see Arfield play behind Barnes who will be starting again tonight. If Westwood is starting then I’d have to presume that Jeff will continue in the 10 role...

Marney - Championship loan.
Wells - Championship loan.

Possibly frees up room for another incoming wage.
I’d like to see someone to link up play to the forward, but finding someone in that position who works hard for the team isn’t easy.

Scott Sinclair - not good enough for the Prem in recent times, will he have improved up in Scotland? Doubtful but if cheap then worth a shot. The area would suit him too due to his missus being from turdtown. Not sure his work rate suits us either. Reid - Bristol City, linked in summer if I recall c...

what most people are alluding to on here is the fact that, Danny Ings is much better than Nahki Wells. Which is true. Ings, providing he's fit for the season, would be a very good signing on loan. Can't see him battling his way back into the squad at Anfield regardless of fitness. So a loan move could be seen as a trial to buying the lad back potentially?

However it seems inevitable that we will go 4-4-2 , blooding Taylor and maybe saying farewell to Barnes along the way, hopefully with a goal or two for him.
