On Monday 21st, I'm due to travel down to Hertfordshire to give the Eulogy at my Godfather's funeral, he would have been 91 on Boxing Day. ... Train tickets are booked, suit and tie all checked, and the Eulogy written ...
Now our Prime Minister has just put the town I'm visiting into Tier 4. I'm slightly asthmatic and my wife is a type1 diabetic, and we've been better than most at following all the guidelines. Would you cancel ??

I’d seriously consider it. To me today they looked like they were holding on to worse news to keep Christmas as on for moral purposes. I virtually attended a funeral this week. It might be worth ringing down to see if you can give the Eulogy on live link. Unfortunately that was not an option for my second funeral of the week at Rose Grove or Monday’s at Accrington.... been a rough few weeks, keep you chin up and stay safe whatever you decide to do.

Sadly yes, and don't feel guilty.
