haven’t seen it if mentioned but why is 4th position not in Leicesters hands if they lose? Doesn’t it go down to goal difference?
Liverpool will go 4th tomorrow when they beat us though

If Leicester lose tonight, but win their last game against Spurs, and Liverpool win their last 2 against Burnley & Palace then yes it will, Chelsea aren't guaranteed top 4 even with a win tonight, and they'll probably still need to win their final match at Villa to be sure.

Liverpool's goal difference is better. So it's in Leicester's hand as in so much as if they win their final game by a certain amount of goals then they can do it. But with Burnley and Palace as Liverpool's next fixtures, and Leicester with Spurs to play you would expect 2 Liverpool wins to do the job.

If they beat us, don't be so defeatist.

Ok that’s what I thought! So it is still in their hands then. Just beat Spurs about 6-0. Won’t come to that anyway after tomorrow

It's not in their hands though is it. Because if the beat Spurs 6-0 they won't be guaranteed to finish above Liverpool.

Well whatever they need to have a better goal difference on the day. So it is in their own hands

Leicester can come above Liverpool if they win their last game there cannot be any argument about that

It isn't in their own hands because whatever they do they have to rely on Liverpool's results.

Cantankerous to the end. It could just as easily be argued that Liverpool are reliant on the Leicester result

What is the point of you? I’ve already asked you politely to stop stalking me. It’s just weird.

There’s no stalking going on from me. You hound other posters with your pedantry and I pull you up repeatedly

If Liverpool win their last two games 1-0 they would be +3 GD in front of Leicester.

Leicester having scored more goals would then have to beat Spurs 3-0 at the very least to finish in the top four.

I haven't hounded anyone. Super Teds asked what the top 4 qualification scenario was and I explained this to them. I then challenged their point that it is still in Leicester's hands, which clearly it isn't. The only person being argumentative is you, and it's because you see my username and can't help yourself. You have a weird obsession with me which I may be flattered by if you weren't so unhinged. Please just leave me alone.

If it’s not super teds it’s somebody else you are trying to get the better off. There’s no obsession but there is a dislike of your habitual scoring points of others

I'm not trying to get the better of anyone, as I wasn't last time you decided to harass me. I have pointed out that another poster is wrong in their assertion. The fact that you then challenge me, rather than the person who made the incorrect claim just proves your weird obsession with me. Bore off.

The last time was when someone said Newcastle were safe but you argued they weren’t mathematically safe . Everyone knew what the posted meant and it was all over bar the shouting . Not you , your decided you would make a point and once again spent several posts arguing that you knew best. Before that it was something else and goes back to arguing all night that Captain Tom had done nothing special.
I am convinced you are a troll !

I think everything including the kitchen sink implied that Newcastle were getting relegated, but unless you actually say these words - I think Newcastle will be relegated it doesn’t count, you’ll do well to remember that!
