If you’ve ever bought a ticket you will have a Clarets Number. If you have and you don’t know the number I’d contact the ticket office.burnley007 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 6:02 pmI don't have a Clarets number, (whatever that is), so can I not buy a ticket??

Re: Brighton match
Sounds like the new owners want to up the revenue so they can pay their debt.
Looks like the years of price freezes are going to have a bigger bite for us season ticket holders - so rather than raise a £10-15 a season for a season ticket for last how many years we have had it frozen, there will be what feels like is a big jump.
Being able to claim that we are still very much a community club will still be made but I suspect that will depend on the definition you choose to apply.
Community club to most fans is likely to be defined as allowing access to watching football at affordable prices to low-income families and the club providing an opportunity to use that local community to support it through attendance of proper local fans.
However, the new owners could define this differently. It could be that they see a community club as one that engages local businesses with a view of raising the quality of life for the community by continuing to help drive improved investment in the town and the local community. The way they do this is by striking a balance of allowing accessibility to the game (albeit with less affordable seats in the better parts of the ground) and providing better corporate facilities.

That's what you get when a large majority say the season tickets and matchday prices were good value or extreamely good value.clarethomer wrote: ↑Wed Aug 04, 2021 11:57 am

Its exactly why you do surveys, if people think they're getting a good deal out of you, you know you can put your prices up.

These prices make existing Season Tickets even better value, surely.
I guess there is a suspicion next season will see price rises. I would have thought this was a ruse to increase away fan ticket prices, but the 30 quid cap still applies doesnt it?

Massively so.
Mine season ticket works out at £23.94 per game instead of £50 a game

Bob Lord was £40, which was joint most expensive with Long Side Upper, or perhaps just the middle part of Long Side Upper.
Re: Brighton match
£50 max for Brighton.
So how much for United, Citeh and Liverpool?
And more importantly, how much per Twix?

Re: Brighton match
We want more players....... but we also want under priced premier league tickets.
We want Garlick out......... but we also want a community club.
It's another day in the dawning reality of Burnley Football Club being owned by people who want to move the revenue streams forward, and if you thought they were going to do that everywhere but the fans, I am sorry that this has come as a shock to you, but it was always, always going to happen. As will paying for commentaries, video content etc etc
It might be another Joanie Mitchell moment here as well...... Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you've got til it's gone.......

I can't see there being a full house for any game this season.
I hope it works out for the new owners but I just can't see how it will?
Maybe go back to 4.2k away fans to boost numbers up?

Re: Brighton match
There are seats in the Bob Lord for £50 that are described as “severely restricted”, that is scandalous. For the seats that aren’t severely restricted and those from row a-k in the North stand upper, fine.
Mostly season ticket holders in those seats anyhow and very few tickets actually available for £50. I imagine these seats will be picked up by tourists for the bigger games.

Yes, mostly season ticket holders who are going to get a shock next year when the season ticket prices are announced. The prices announced recently for season tickets show a difference of £70 between rows K & L in the Longside upper.cav wrote: ↑Wed Aug 04, 2021 3:15 pmThere are seats in the Bob Lord for £50 that are described as “severely restricted”, that is scandalous. That's why a number of clubs now require a "membership fee" to enable you to buy home games as a casual.cav wrote: ↑Wed Aug 04, 2021 3:15 pmThere are seats in the Bob Lord for £50 that are described as “severely restricted”, that is scandalous. If I want to take my son to a Chelsea game, I'd need to cough up £30-40 each for a season to enable me to buy home game tickets.
Same with Palace and City.
Means they can cut out the ticket tourism or away fans in the home end and make money out of it.
Re: Brighton match
Budget cuts to staff, ticket price hike and an old wafer thin squad, the cash for the loan and ALK salaries had to come from somewhere.

for a bit of balance, the Vegas Raiders NFL team play a pre-season game in a few weeks, cheapest seats are 75 quid, most expensive are over 2k. It will sell out. Americans pay a lot to go an watch sport and maybe Pace and Co think folks in Burnley can afford to do that. I'm not criticizing them for putting the prices up but I can see games with 15 thousand on regularly unless there is a massive uptake in season tickets

If it's right that only 11.5k have renewed as ST holders, we could end up with 13-14 thousand on against the smaller clubs, with small away followings.
I thought people would pick a few games as a walk on but with prices jumping up, I'm not sure now.

Do Vegas Raiders follow the usual practice of making the purchase of pre-season friendly tickets, compulsory for season ticket holders? Few clubs would sell out if the pre-season games weren't part of the season ticket package.
