AI Scout Players v Clarets u18
Had a brief look through the posts but can't see anything mentioned. Just seen 15 AI scout players were selected to play against our u18s on Tuesday. Does anyone know how that went?

Doesn’t say, probably took a battering to be fair, but good to hear we’re continuing to develop this as part of our strategy.

Re: AI Scout Players v Clarets u18
I asked the question this morning via a Facebook post and someone replied that the triallists won 4-1 (unverified). If so it suggests there could be something in this AI thing but I have asked a follow-up question as to whether the triallists were an open age team and therefore might have had an age/strength advantage against the youngsters.

I’m not surprised they won 4-1 if they selected 15 to play

Re: AI Scout Players v Clarets u18
if a bunch of trialists who have never played together before can get a result against our u18's I would say it's an indication of ability of both sets of players

Or one could say that this shows that Al Scout can work really well, and that the analysts know what they are doing.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 6:08 pmif a bunch of trialists who have never played together before can get a result against our u18's I would say it's an indication of ability of both sets of players

Re: AI Scout Players v Clarets u18
I wouldn't read too much into the result itself, except that the trialists (if that is what we call them) must have been reasonable.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 7:16 pmthat's exactly my point ! Probably better than expected
It would be a significant bonus if we could bring in a couple of quality players through this scheme,

A couple of wingers to go straight in the team would be good.
