If we're including females in this, then Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction takes some beating.

Don't know about best badddie ever but definitely one of the best performances in a British drama especially in the feature length
Just watched all the 'This is England' stuff for 2nd time and it's almost certainly the best that film4 productions have ever done
