Rovers in the play offs. Burnley in bottom 2
Long way to go but it couldn’t happen could it ?
Re: Rovers in the play offs. Burnley in bottom 2
No they won't go up.
We'll probably go down.
We need to pray for some serious luck to scrape some kind of points total together to try improve in the next transfer window. 2 of our next 3 are Leicester and Man City so that's 2 losses.
3 of our 19 home games down, 3 of the more winnable ones and only 1 point.
The Norwich game is absolutely huge for both of us, so early in the season too.

We are just having our usual poor start to a season, those who're busy flapping about it have seemingly forgotten that.

I said this last week....GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 4:51 pmWe are just having our usual poor start to a season, those who're busy flapping about it have seemingly forgotten that.
''this isn't just a short term bad run of form, this is a serious athletic decline in the squad''
As we all know by now, I'm a football expert and I'm not wrong very often. 4 wins in 25 games

I thought we’d all be used to this by now. We start shite and end shite but generally do some good stuff in between. The ones predicting our demise will be the usual subjects, the same ones getting it wrong for five years. Eventually we might go down, then they’ll be saying I told you so. If you predict something long enough eventually you’ll probably get it right.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 4:51 pmWe are just having our usual poor start to a season, those who're busy flapping about it have seemingly forgotten that.

Rovers won't go up.
Will we go down, well we've got a fight on our hands that's for sure, but I think we'll just have enough when it comes to the crunch.

we just need the Brighton VAR from today and we'll qualify for Europe

Do you lot genuinely not pay attention when the resident football expert types here? I've just told you what it is, it isn't just a bad start to the season, it's much worse than that.

We will be fine. It’s about confidence. We have a hardened bunch of players and now with a smattering of quality.
A win will make a huge difference. We don’t have the points our performances deserve. It will turn.
If it was white flag time, would we have just plumped the thick end of £28m on transfers? Would Sean Dyche have agreed to a new four year deal?
The only people who think we will go down are the regular naysayers.
Not a chance.

What a load of guff, none of us on here are football experts, we're just fans giving our opinions.
BTW what happened to Marco Silva and Fulham yesterday losing at home to Reading, 2 defeats in 3 games now for the great one.

My Rovers friend is spouting his usual early season shite about how it’s “their year” but he spouts that at the start of every season.
Won’t be long before Rovers wheels come off and Cornet starts the revolution

Where is the criticism in my post ? I put the facts and asked a question. Feel free to answer it or ignore itClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 5:16 pmClearly still have some affinity to them having worked for them. You definitely don’t have any for Burnley given all you ever do is criticise.

I'm a self proclaimed expert my old friend. I'm not a Fulham fan so I have no idea nor do I give a toss, Marco will get them promotion easily though

Excellent post houseboy, the odds are that we will drop back to the Championship at some point, as must clubs generally do after a longish spell in the PL.houseboy wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 4:59 pmI thought we’d all be used to this by now. We've had a good run now this being our 6th successive season, and as you correctly predict the usual naysayers will no doubt climb out of the woodwork if and when we should happen to suffer the drop, they almost seem to revel in our defeats, which considering they're supposed to be Burnley fans is bizarre to me.
And if and probably when we put a run together all these posters will mysteriously disappear, funny that isn't it.

Yes Marco will get them promoted, I'm just on the wind-up.
We'll have to agree to disagree as to you being an expert though.
And less of the old thanks very much.

A few on here it seems with real confidence that Rovers wont go up. But they might. Fulham are losing the plot. Its a competitive division - though way below the three levels of the EPL - and they could well do it and heaven forbid, but possibly, exchange divisions with us!!!

Put a sock in it will you. Your last prediction was Italy were defensively old slow and useless and would be knocked out of the Euros as soon as they were in the knock out stage. You know jack!

Little bit off the thread subject, but lots have said for some time that we need 3 players, we still need 3 players
