RIP Graham ‘Hebbie’ Holden

Post by elwaclaret » Sun Nov 07, 2021 12:07 pm

Gutted to hear this morning that my friend, fellow Burnley fan and glue that held Burnley Scooter Club together Graham ‘Hebbie’ Holden died suddenly yesterday. One of the nicest people I ever met, my thoughts are with his family and million close friends at this terrible time. I will never get used to attending local Northern Soul nights and not sharing half an hour for a catch-up. I’ll miss you mate xx

Didn’t know Hebbie, but anyone who is a claret and into Northern Soul and rides scooters is a top bloke in my book. Sincere condolences for the loss of your dear friend. Rest in Peace Hebbie and keep the faith in heaven.

RIP, Hebbie.
I didn’t know him personally but I informed a mate of mine who is heavily involved in the Lancashire Scooter scene and he replied with this:
“Oh no. He is a lovely fella. Knew him very well. He was such a generous soul.”

Hi Elwa, my mate has just put a tribute to him on FB, including a photo of him on his scooter.
Would you object if I posted it on here? Some might not know the name.

Love that!

You’ll not go to a Burnley or England game without bumping into an Holden! Like I said, absolute salt of the earth are the Holdens!

Very true, a proper sound family. Many an England trip has taken place and most have seen Steve, Albert & David present.

A sad loss, a guy who did so much for those with so little and a very big heart.

RIP Hebbie

Good friends of my dad are the Holden's, all top blokes and always have time for a good chat.

Like someone said above, don't think you can
Or certainly in previous decades could have gone on a Burnley game without bumping into one of them.

RIP Hebbie

Just been to Graham "Hebbie" Holden's funeral. Big turn out of scooter lads and Clarets. Please note, minutes applause on 66 minutes tomorrow on Turf.
Greatly appreciated.
