Yeah, I hear ya pal, it wasn't a reply on your comment but one to the mods coz on the other thread I made a joke about female keepers letting goals in that sparked off some unpleasant replies and eventually got removed. I'm happy for jokes to be made, it's others that aren't.

For me they could have kept Matt on and sacked the women’s team. I just can’t get worked up about the women’s game and I don’t think I’m alone. No problem with it at all but the day the BBC put it second on their sport app above everything apart from the PL suggested it’s being force fed to us rather than introduced as an option.
Apologies to all who may enjoy it but it’s not for me. There are sports that women are better at...beach volleyball is quite good.

I'm bumping this thread for one reason, and one reason only.

In a new thread, submitted by diamondpocket at 7:48 p.m. today, I was accused of deleting this thread which I think you can clearly seen I have not. What has happened is that another mod deleted one, I repeat one, unnecessary post on this thread from diamondpocket earlier.

The new thread he started at 7:48 p.m. was nothing short of insulting and abusive towards me. He asked me to explain the disappearance of threads, the one that hasn't disappeared. He said this thread should have remained, which it has, for people to really see and understand what I'm about.

"Shame on you," he posted while accusing me of censoring the board and being on nothing more than an ego trip.

He ended by suggesting I'd be happy to know he won't be coming back.

I can now add, despite his promise of not coming back - he's only gone and posted his awful thread again.

I'm not sure why on earth I should have to put up with this. He's now even called me a bigot.

Tony, as you’ll no doubt have seen on the mod control panel, I deleted the message.

My reasons for it were this…

1) it appeared to be a post that was directly questioning your editing of the UpTheClarets website, subtly hidden in a different thread, where you might not have seen it.

2) the content of the post appeared provocative with the intention of trying to start an argument.

3) the message completely ignored the your previously stated rationale and thus, appeared very disrespectful.

4) it questioned a moderator’s final decision and thus, broke board rules.

I make no apology for my actions.
