I worried when Smith came in at Norwich. But you cannot make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Norwich bounce lasted about one and a half games… for me they are gone unless something miraculous happens.

Norwich going down is more or less a given. I think there’s too much to do at Newcastle, January will be huge for them. I feel we can finish above Watford. Hopefully Southampton will throw their hat in the ring too, they are more than capable.

Wouldn't rule Leeds or Brentford out of the mix either. Certainly looking better for us now, but we need to capitalise on our games in hand.

You could not get a closer replica of Pope's blunder. His was allowed, Spurs today disallowed. The inconsistency has cost us a point

I thought it was different, the Spurs player definitely jumped towards Forster whilst the Newcastle player didn't.
