The management
They have to go I'm afraid. I couldn't give a monkeys toss if nobody else could get anything from this shower of shite. This is unbearable.

It is getting more and more difficult to argue otherwise but this isn’t solely down to them. That squad deity is pathetic and I’m afraid that’s down to other individual.

Re: The management
Firstly, I’m a huge admirer of Dyche, and what he has achieved.
There are a number of reasons we are where we are, and Dyche has to take his fair share of the blame.
Our entire game plan, lack of creativity, rigidness and lack of Plan B is on him.
We can throw as much money at it as we like, but if the game plan is the same, and there is a stubborn refusal to change it, then it’s pointless.

Something has to change and fast.
I thought Newcastle was bad. Leeds really put the boot in and this surely has to be the final straw. How much more do we have to endure now?

True, you do however have players that earn twice as much as the opposition and on paper are supposed to be better players. Take Cornet, gudmundsson & McNeil out of the side and we have zero attacking threatBabylonClaret wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 2:35 pmTo be fair they had nothing to work with today. Absolutely shambolic. Second half particularly rotten. Sickening passing of the ball.

A typical cup performance since Dyche has been here but in the past we always knew he would have the answer to survival in the league.
Not so sure this time but strangely looking forward to what he does with the likes of Tarkowski now

Lack of recruitment, lack of self belief in managing different type of players, lack of reinvestment in the squad - lack of performances and lack of accountability too.

A pro active coach makes a change of personnel and tactics, we fail to adapt and hey presto, game turns on its head
Seen it go against us too many times in the last 12 months for it not to be a coincidence.
Very dull.
Much rather they threw on a young CM and winger, let's see their hunger
If the kids aren't getting on when we have 12 senior players , playing at home in the FA Cup to lower league opposition, than they never wil
We were 1 nil up for goodnesssake, the perfect time to bring on some page, energy and enthusiasm.

No way we will or should sack Sean atm. We can't afford to.
We are most likely going down this season, due to allowing cm to become so poor and not replacing Defour. He can take his pay cut like everyone else. If we are not tons better by Dec 2022, then he has to go. I'd rather spend whatever funds are available on a new cm.

We have a squad of players who can't pass or receive the ball.
That is down to Dyche and his coaching staff.
He might be able to pluck a few results but the performance and capabilities of the players are shocking.

He’s not had it easy with the lack of transfer funds but keeping the squad fresh and developing the next squad is where the best managers earn their corn. We’ve had the same squad pretty much for years and turned it over too regularly with ageing pros.
We could all see this coming but hell, it’s hit home this season.

We started with 2 full England internationals and hundreds of Premier League starts between the other 9 players. The managers catchphrases,The legs, hearts, minds, eye of the tiger has completely gone from this side.BabylonClaret wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 2:35 pmTo be fair they had nothing to work with today. Let's be honest it had pretty much gone from midway through last year. Without some dramatic changes my fear is for our Championship status after next season. Too many people at that club who feel untouchable, and the manager is one of them..

I would take a punt at Mark Bonner working his magic at Cambridge United he has to be better than the current dinasour at the helm and give an up and coming manager a chance

Re: The management
A month ago I'd have agreed with you, maybe even a week ago, but the whole club is on a massive downward spiral right now, and I honestly can't see us turning it around.
Now whether another manager could do better with this motley crew I have my doubts, but as we're almost certainly heading for the Championship, it seems an ideal time to have a total reset and move the older OOC players on, as Palace have done under PV, and get some youth injected into our set-up.
Unfortunately it'll probably take until the end of the season before we can do this overhaul, but based on that display against a decent Championship side in Huddersfield we won't be making an immediate return to the PL next season anyway, even if SD remains at the helm. so for me a change is needed come May.

The first team look incapable of playing any sort of football, you've got to question what the he'll goes on midweek training session wise, the whole squad looks to have gone backwards in terms of ability.
The only bright spark is Cornet, but I think that's only because he's playing his natural game and hasn't has it coached out of him just yet.... sorry "frameworked"

Dyche hasn’t evolved one bit. It’s the same rigid, one dimensional, long ball, boring, slow, predictable nonsense. It’s been going on for a couple of seasons now. We are beyond bad. I really can’t see us getting out of this one…..but it’s just like us to beat Leicester next week.

Not having that - we've been led to believe that Dyche has always had a big say in who we sign. Garlick may not have made much money available, but the signings (bar Cornet and Collins) have been awful for three years now.
