7 home games

Post by Dano1bfc » Sun Jan 23, 2022 11:08 pm

Hey,

Did anyone else realise we have only played 7 times at home from the 18 games played?

I for one, think , yes we havent been great but still have games in hand are still in touch and have the majority of our games left at home.

It won’t take 40 points this year . Luckily upto Everton are averaging less than a point per game for example .

And I bet they have played a more even spread of games at home .

Good result today , chin up clarets .

This could be key, as we kind of realise that we are in the thick of a relegation battle now, so the fans should be (in theory) more fired up than normal.

Hopefully with a few new players joining, who can get you off your seat, then it could be an exciting last 11 games at the Turf. It felt like that we were just sleepwalking through the season previously.

Could be key, however after the Watford game it’s

United
Liverpool
Chelsea
City

All at home in 4 of the next 5 games. It’s a must must win.

We have had 5 games called off for various reasons and all yet to be replayed and 4 of the 5 are home games. That fact gives us hope, but only if we start making home advantage count in our favour the way it used to.
